friends, especially true friends will be by your side no matter the circumstances
they may nudge, poke and even offer an advice or two
bottom line, they will be there for you
distance at times makes the heart grow fonder
the mind thinks clearer
the space heals but wounds may not
events that happened seem smaller
but the fondness
the love
will always be there or thereabouts
ask yourself why you are lacking in true friendship
the constant lies?
the persona of importance?
the ego of a psycho?
preaching like a saint but in reality a sinner?
sooner or later, the tormented shall have their reward
once hailed as a savior
now the demeanor
how time has shown your true colours
and more
scurrying like a rat
smelling like one too (sorry to all the rats)
telling tales to any listening ear
twisting and turning half truths to full lies
we can all see through you
reflect on life
remorse
repent
be the better man (or woman)
look at all that you have preached
take the good
throw the bad
practice them well
all will be fine
then only may you have a follower or two ;)
